final ideas

this edit shows a woman wearing a fur coat and two bears saying 'shoot us with cameras not guns'. i could develop this idea but making the writing a lot nicer and doing better editing on the bears.

this hosts an animal testing on the man to show how weird it is the other way round. if an animal tested on a man like people do animals it would be really unfair and cruel to humans.

this edit shows what your eating when you have mc donalds because people don't realise that they are eating animals. so this shows what they are actually eating.

this edit shows a cat on a human body holding a bat. it shows how if we keep hurting animals they could eventually fight back just as hard.

next lesson i will finish my final piece and hopefully start moving towards the display of my photo.

final idea research

  • animal rights- putting and animals head on a human body, slogan (nature will fight back) this shows people that if we continue to hurt animals that they might one day become as strong as us to fight back and won't let people continue to hut them.
  • surfing sewage- people not surfing with a beach full of trash/sewage. this will show people that when the beach is nice and clean everyone will be out enjoying the beach and surfing but as soon as there is waste people will stop surfing.
  • bullying- person with faced covered up ( hiding who they are) people will cover their faces up when they get judged trying to be someone different to impress others.
  • lgbt- switch a man and womans head around showing that woman and men can get gender changes and shouldn't be judged for it.

Andy warhol transcription

My and warhol transcription.

I made my own pop art piece based on andy warhols. i used an actor named jensen, from a tv show. i made the photo on photoshop using different layers and colours.

it looks like any awrhols, but it would need improvement, it looks to realistic and i would need to make sure to get rid of all the white areas on the face. the colours i used work well because i did very bright colours. i also did sections in the background made out different colours to make it stand out.

Andy Warhol

              ANDY WARHOL
Born Andrew Warhola on August 6, 1928, in the neighborhood of Oakland in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Warhol attended Holmes Elementary school and took the free art classes offered at the Carnegie Institute (now the Carnegie Museum of Art) in Pittsburgh. In 1942, at the age of 14, Warhol again suffered a tragedy when his father passed away from a jaundiced liver.

he was a magazine illustrator who became a leading artist of the pop movement. he had a degree in fine art and became the most successful commercial artist with glamour magazine.
in the late 1950s, Warhol began devoting more attention to painting, and in 1961, he debuted the concept of "pop art"—paintings that focused on mass-produced commercial goods. In 1962, he exhibited the now-iconic paintings of Campbell's soup cans. These small canvas works of everyday consumer products created a major stir in the art world, bringing both Warhol and pop art into the national spotlight for the first time.
i think his work is really creative and it looks like it would take a lot of time to do. the colours work really well together and make he pictures stand out more.

camera obscurer

On the trip we used a quality street tin with a small hole in, it had photographic paper inside and a little flap on the front, when you place the tin down in the sun you lift the flap up for an amount of time, the sunnier it is the less you hold the flap open. the sun projects the image in front of you onto the photographic paper. we then took it back to the room where the people used chemicals to keep the picture.
