Progress

So far i have cut out my template, printed out my backgrounds and used my stencil once for a simple picture,
i cut out my stencil using a scalpel and then printed of some backgrounds of the internet. I then got a plain white piece of paper and printed my first picture out which is a plain black and white one.

I have now completed all of my stencils. i have done a selection of backgrounds, they are- a brick wall, plain white, plain black, brown packaging paper, newspaper and a rainbow theme, the colours of the gay flag. i have also put my picture on photoshop and put it up against a wall. now all i have to do is add some writing/a slogan.
before and after- I put my stencil onto a brick wall picture to show it in a real life situation. i have used an effect to make it so you can still see the bricks in the background to make it more realistic. i then added a slogan, love is love, to it which makes you understand it more and makes it more intresting. The slogan love is love stands for that it doesn't matter if you love someone from the sae or oposite gender people should be aloud to love whoever they want without getting judged by other people. I chose this issue because as more countries/states/places are now legalising gay marriage it is in the new a lot more so i noticed it, i also think that everyone should be treated the same so thats why chose to do LGBT rights. I got inspiration for my stencil for looking through the internet, this is a symbol for LGBT, i think many for transgender but it also stands for the rest of LGBT so i thought that because it is a simple design it would make a simple but bold stencil, it was a little hard to cut out but once i got the hang of it i did it quite quickly, it was hard to stencil as i had to hold both the outside stencil and the circle in the middle.
